Sammy Hagar & The Circle and REO Speedwagon Set to Rock Laughlin Event Center Stage in May 2022

Laughlin, Nevada – (Nov. 8, 2021) The Laughlin Event Center will heat up next spring when rock legend Sammy Hagar takes the stage at Laughlin’s premier outdoor concert venue on Saturday, May 7, 2022. The all-star lineup will include Hagar and supergroup, The Circle; REO Speedwagon; and Sir, Please.
For more than four decades, Hagar has been recognized as one of the best and most accomplished lead singers and songwriters in rock music. From breaking into the industry with the seminal hard rock band Montrose, to his multi-platinum solo career, to his ride as the frontman of Van Halen, Chickenfoot and his latest best-selling supergroup The Circle, Hagar has amassed 25 Platinum albums on sales surpassing 50 million worldwide. Along his journey, he has set the tone for some of the greatest rock anthems ever written with songs like "I Can't Drive 55," "Right Now," and "Why Can't This Be Love" and earned the highest respect of the music industry with a Grammy Award and induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
Led by Hagar, The Circle features Michael Anthony, the renowned bassist and fellow Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee, who’s played with him for the past 30 years in bands including Van Halen and Chickenfoot; Jason Bonham, the acclaimed journeyman drummer and son of Led Zeppelin’s iconic drummer, John Bonham; and Vic Johnson, Hagar’s longtime guitar virtuoso who seamlessly shreds through his own, as well as some of rock’s most iconic guitarists’ riffs. Formed in 2014, the critically-acclaimed supergroup takes fans on a musical journey through rock history with a setlist spanning four decades of Hagar and the band’s biggest hits from The Circle, Van Halen, Montrose, Sammy Hagar & The Wabos and beyond.
Formed in 1967 and fronted by iconic vocalist Kevin Cronin since 1972, REO Speedwagon’s unrelenting drive, as well as non-stop touring and recording jump-started the burgeoning rock movement in the Midwest. Platinum albums and radio staples set the stage for the release of the band’s explosive Hi Infidelity in 1980, which contained the massive hit singles “Keep On Loving You” and “Take It On the Run.” That landmark album spent 15 weeks in the NO. 1 slot and has since earned the RIAA’s coveted 10X Diamond Award for surpassing sales of 10 million units in the United States. Indie-rock band, Sir, Please, will open the show with their moving lyrics and unique sound. Singer Shane Cronin’s powerful vibrato naturally fuses with Michael Leese’s crisp rhythm guitar and the driving grooves of drummer David Kohn and bassist Josh Cronin. The result is a contemporary sound, with hints of what came before them.
Tickets will go on sale to the public beginning at 10 a.m. PT on Wednesday, Oct. 27. True Rewards Players Club members will have exclusive access to purchase presale tickets from 10 a.m. PT on Tuesday, Oct. 26 through Wednesday, Oct. 27 at 9:59 a.m. PT.
